Shawn Richardz Biography

Shawn Richardz was born in New York City. From an early age, every aspect of entertainment fascinated Shawn. Her father quickly noticed how movies, television, music and theater inspired her to dream big. Wanting to support her desire to reach for the stars, he gave her legendary actor Montgomery Clift's biography to read. Shawn absorbed every word, transforming her strong interest in the arts into pure passion and respect for the craft. Knowing she wanted to take a similar route, Shawn translated her fervor into action. In addition to reading about as many exceptional actors as possible, including Jane Russell, Clark Gable and more, Shawn immersed herself in her craft. New York City was the perfect place to foster her love for the theater; hence she joined theater companies and developed her acting chops on the stage like the greats she admired.

Shawn continued to broaden her strengths, eventually appearing in independent films that were featured in national film festivals. The recognition she received from appearing in national commercials increased her opportunities and gave her the confidence to continue pursuing her dreams, which included a one-way ticket to Los Angeles. From the moment Shawn touched down in California, she began booking leading roles starring opposite such names as James Russo, Dana Carvey, Holland Taylor and Blair Underwood. With features in numerous modeling campaigns in addition to film credits and commercials, Shawn is an engaging host with the perfect mix of glamour and intelligence that make her the optimum choice for covering pre-recorded and live events. In essence, Shawn hasn't looked back expect to support her beloved New York Yankees.
